The Walk For Life is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year and one we always look forward to. This is a family event; everyone is invited to participate even if they cannot do the physical walk. The day includes activities, prizes, and food! Fun for all ages.
How do you participate in the Walk?

Setting up your registration page does not mean you have to raise funds online. We understand some people prefer to collect donations in person. We just need the online registration to ensure that everyone is accounted for.
How much money do I have to raise/Do I have to pay to register?
That is up to you! Set your goal and start asking your friends, family, neighbors, and coworkers to support you. If you raise $150 or more, you get a free t-shirt with this year’s logo! There is no cost to register.
Do I have to collect the money before the Walk?
It does make it so much easier on us if you have all of your sponsors written down on your form or your online platform and their donations collected. We will however send pledge reminders with return envelopes for gifts of $25 or more.
I can’t attend in person/I can’t walk that far.
If you can’t join the festivities on September 9, 2023, make a plan to have some fun on your own and walk with your family and friends. You can mail your pledge forms and donations to our business office at 3 Mechanic St., Bradford, PA 16701 and Walk when it fits your schedule. If you are able to attend but the walk is too much for you, do what you can! Walk around the pavilion, sit and tap your toes, or just cheer on the other walkers.
What do we do day of the Walk?
Meet us at Allegany River Park, W. Union St, Allegany, NY, and head straight to the registration tent to make sure we have you registered. Bring any collected donations and turn them in at the tent.
Once you are registered, enjoy the fellowship, grab a bottle of water, and have fun.
The Walk will begin at 10:30AM with some sharing and testimony. Then the group will be sent off for the walk. When you return, we invite you to stay and enjoy the picnic, activities for the kids, and basket raffle.
